Let's start at the beginning...
Do you like to cook? If you do, you know that creating a delicious meal can be as simple as combining a few basic ingredients: food + spices + heat = dinner.
How about gardening? Same thing: seeds + soil + water = lettuce.
Effective design requires a similar formula. Determining the right elements is half of the challenge. The other half is combining those elements into a design that communicates your message successfully.
I love my job. As a graphic artist who understands communication and marketing, I'll help you find the right elements for your design project. If the elements aren't there, I'll create them.

The Montana Department of Justice was awarded Best Consumer Outreach for "Safe in YourSpace," a cybersafety website designed by Element L Design. Attorney General Mike McGrath accepted the award at the Conference of Western Attorneys General at Seattle.
New logos: I'm just wrapping up a new visual identity for Montana Shares, a federation non-profit organizations that facilitates workplace giving. The project involved a campaign identity, a unique brochure with supplemental materials, and a new website for the organization.

Montana Democratic Party: I recently completed a new logo for the Montana Democratic Party. With a fresh approach, the Party is embarking on a rebranding effort to broaden it's appeal to Montanans of all ages, and to take advantage of the momentum democrats are enjoying nationally.
